About

Rebecca is an artist, educator, and activist with over ten years experience teaching visual art studio courses, developing and writing curriculum, and collaborating with students from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Rebecca earned an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has taught at multiple Bay Area colleges including California College of the Arts and San Francisco Art Institute.  She is a creative problem solver, detail-oriented empathic professional, and optimist with a love for writing, design, and community-centered learning.  Rebecca believes that engaging in making and process itself is an artform and that exploring unfamiliar methods and mediums open channels for unexpected innovation and insight.
